The Over Door Exercise Pulley is ideal for increasing range of motion and co-ordination in the shoulder, arm and hand following injury or CVA.
Regularly used in physiotherapy environments, these shoulder pulleys enable the stronger arm to pull up the affected arm in a controlled stretching motion, making it ideal for engaging slow, passive stretching.
Easily installed over a door, this exercise pulley is ideal for continuing rehabilitation in the home. The 2.6m (8’) rope can be easily adjusted to ensure a proper fit and the large handles make it easy to grasp for those who might have limited dexterity following their injury, and cuff style weights can be added to one side for more resistance and to build muscle strength (sold separately – please contact us for assistance).
The shoulder pulley is available in two configurations:
- Over door pulley with webbing anchor: attaches snugly to the door with a non-scratch hold
- Over door pulley with extended bracket: positions the pulley 38cm (15”) from the door to give the patient or client more room to manoeuvre.
